The Star Fleet Battles World League is a team tournament run via SFB Online (SFBOL). Each team is composed of three players and each player selects a single tournament cruiser to play for the duration of the tournament.

The initial phase of the tournament is a round-robin. If there are two or three teams, each player will end up playing against each other non-teammate. Otherwise each player will play once against a player of an opposing team. Each player will score points for their team:

• 4 points for a win
• 2 points for a loss
• 1 point for an agreed tie or unfinished game
• 0 points for no shows

After the round-robin, the top 2 teams will advance to a single-elimination stage. Each player will fight one member of the opposing team. The team with the most wins, comes out on top.
